Scouts receive awards

More than 30 young people from Scouts BSA, Girl Scouts and American Heritage Girls received religious awards March 6 at a special Mass at St. Paul Cathedral. It was the annual awards ceremony of the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting. Adult awards are to be presented later this year. Father Donato Infante, scout chaplain, presented the young people’s awards, gave them Bishop McManus’ congratulations and told them, “Jesus is running towards you to embrace you with his love. … Will you embrace him back?”
