The Catholic Free Press joined hundreds of men at the 24th annual Worcester Diocesan Catholic Men’s Conference at the DCU Center in Worcester on April 5. Speakers included Father Donald Calloway, a convert known as “the surfer priest”; Sam Blair, a retired United States Navy SEAL; Father Derek A. Mobilio, a diocesan priest; Edward Sri, theologian and FOCUS co-founder; and Arthur Boyle, a man told he had six months to live 25 years ago. Also being offered was confession, an all-day adoration chapel, the chance to visit more than 50 vendors and the day concluded with Mass with Bishop McManus.
