WORCESTER – Bishop McManus blesses the crowd after leading prayers for the 40 Days for Life campaign to end abortion Tuesday. Joining him outside the Planned Parenthood abortion facility at 470 Pleasant St. were more than 60 people, including religious from the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and students from Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Still River and St. Thomas Aquinas School in West Warren. Individuals and groups are encouraged to sign up for times to pray on Pleasant Street between now and Palm Sunday, when this spring’s 40 Days campaign ends. Those signing up can do so at www.40daysforlife.com/en/worcester and will be matched up with an experienced vigiler if it is their first time. People can pray from home using the national 40 Days for Life website www.40daysforlife.com/en/ by clicking on “subscribe” at the bottom of the home page.
