Bishop prays with St. Vincent staff

Bishop McManus visits St.Vincent Hospital to pray for patients and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff gathered at a distance to listen to the bishop speak from the atrium. He told them of his appreciation for their hard work and talked about the history of St. Vincent Hospital’s mission. He led everyone in prayer and passed along a prayer card made especially for the St. Vincent workers. 

“Employees appreciate this moment of kindness, peace and faith as they work to care for their patients with much love and compassion,” said Rhiana Sherwood, public relations manager for the hospital.

The bishop was accompanied by Msgr. James P. Moroney, director of the Office for Divine Worship, and Msgr. Peter R. Beaulieu, director of Mission Intergration aand Pastoral Care at St. Vincent Hospital.
