On Oct., 24, St. Bernadette School will be featured on the CatholicTV Network’s television game show, WOW: The CatholicTV Challenge. The show airs Mondays at 7:30 p.m. on Boston Catholic TV. Locally it can be viewed online at www.catholictv.com and Charter Cable Channel 101. WOW: The CatholicTV Challenge features three rounds of three third graders answering host Father Robert Reed's questions about the WUDABOUT, phrases that have significance in Catholic life. The winner of each round advances to the final challenge to compete for the grand prize. The WUDABOUT is revealed by “Nosey,” the know-it-all, animated, 3-D dog. This season, the WUDABOUTS have questions drawn from “YouCat,” short for “Youth Catechism,” developed by European bishops and distributed at World Youth Day in Madrid. St. Bernadette School answers WUDABOUT questions on Mary the Mother of God, according to a press release from the school. The St. Bernadette School, located in Northborough, teaches the values of the Gospel each and every day. As a Catholic School, it provides an atmosphere of the love of God and a deep respect for the dignity of all persons within the school community and beyond. St. Bernadette’s integrates the guidelines of the Catechism of the Catholic Church in its daily mission to proclaim the Gospel. The faculty, staff, and administration are committed to this teaching, serving the community as Christian role models in humility and service. Students are taught to recognize the presence of Christ in themselves and in others. Focused on the fullness of the Catholic faith, students develop a personal love for Christ and the Church, and students are encouraged to live their faith embodied in the theme of the school’s mission: “St. Bernadette School: Character, Compassion, and Values.”
