The motto of the United States Navy SEALs is “the only easy day was yesterday.” The saying reveals the fortitude and courage that this elite military unit demonstrates on the nation’s behalf.
The Worcester Catholic Men’s Conference has announced that Sam Blair, a retired United States Navy SEAL will be delivering a motivational talk at this year’s conference.
Mr. Blair is a passionate Catholic with experience leading elite teams of men around the globe. He has taught leadership and ethics at the United States Naval Academy, and helped screen, select and train over 90 future SEAL officers.
Mr. Blair has also worked in the private sector at a venture capital firm in Baltimore. He is passionate about leveraging his unique skills and leadership experiences to help other leaders grow.
“Sam Blair is really going to inspire the men – totally fire them up,” said Shawn Shields of the conference planning committee. “As the SEALs always say: ‘Get comfortable being uncomfortable.’ This saying just fits in so well with being a committed Catholic in 2025. This is going to be a unique presentation that we haven’t experienced at our past conferences” Shields continued.
Mr. Blair, his wife Lauren, and their children reside in Louisiana.
