The Annual Partners in Charity Appeal has raised 87 percent of its diocesan goal of $5 million. According to Michael P. Gillespie, director of the Office of Stewardship and Development, $4,332,356 has been received in pledges and cash, as reported through this past Thursday. “To achieve our 2013 goal we need to raise $667,644,” he said. Donors in the St. Paul Society have pledged $719,066, online gifts have exceeded $250,000 and 27 parishes have reached or surpassed their goals, he noted.
