“News reports have made it clear that relief assistance is greatly needed for those parts of the Caribbean and Florida that were impacted directly by Hurricanes Fiona and Ian. Catholic Charities and Catholic Relief Services are on site assisting families with essential needs and are relying on disaster relief funding through the USCCB,” the bishop said.
The diocesan finance office will transfer collected funds through the USCCB to appropriate relief efforts.
