Maintenance work is underway on the bell tower of St. Paul Cathedral, thanks in part to the Legacy of Hope Capital Campaign. Repairs and repointing of the tower are part of the parish and diocesan case. Joseph P. Gnazzo Company Inc., of Union, Connecticut, began erecting the scaffolding earlier in September and the work will be done as weather allows over the next year. Daily Masses are being celebrated in Mary Mother of the Redeemer Chapel which is accessed from the High Street entrance at the rear. Sunday
Masses and diocesan celebrations will continue in the upper church throughout the construction process.
