Bishop McManus ordained three men to the priesthood Saturday at St. Paul Cathedral, 15 Chatham St., Worcester. They are Dario Acevedo, John Hamm and Mark Rainville. Saturday was the Solemnity of SS. Peter and Paul, a wonderful feast for the Church and especially for the Worcester Diocese, given that the cathedral is placed under the patronage of St. Paul, noted Msgr. Robert K. Johnson, director of the diocesan Office for Divine Worship. These men were foundational apostles, so it’s a wonderful day to be ordained and sent forth as a minister of the Gospel, he said. The Mass will be televised at 10 a.m. July 3 on Charter TV3.
