Catholic Charities beat all odds as volunteers delivered more than 3,100 meals to homebound recipients for this year's Bishop's Thanksgiving Dinner. More than 140 cars lined up to received routesand meals following safety protocols during this pandemic.
Speaking about all the volunteers efforts, Tim McMahon, executive director of Catholic Charities said, "With empathy and compassion vounteers waited in their cars, in less than ideal weather conditions, and allowed us all to work through the uncharted territory of delivering an unprecedented number of meals, while exercising every precaution to ensure people’s safety. Every last person that requested a meal had a meal delivered."
