WORCESTER – The Children’s Choir of Greater Paris, consisting of 40 boys and girls aged 11-14 and led by founder and artistic director Francis Bardot, performed a free concert at Christ the King Church on Tuesday, July 18. More than 300 people attended. The choir opened by singing “The Star Spangled Banner” and “La Marseillaise,” closed with “Amazing Grace,” and performed other musical works in French, German and Italian. About half of the choir members stayed with local families and the others slept in the parish hall and showered at Worcester State University. The boys and girls visited the EcoTarium the day of their performance and Old Sturbridge Village the following day. The choir also performed at Christ the King four years ago prior to the pandemic. The choir is scheduled to perform at six other churches in Boston, Montreal, Connecticut and New York.
