WORCESTER – The Office of the Vicar General of the Diocese of Worcester announced Friday that the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church, rectory and garage, located at Cross Street, Clinton, was sold to Eagle Landing at the Reservoir, LLC of Chelmsford for $715,000. The buyer has plans to develop the site for multi-family housing. The sale was completed April 16. The parish has been closed as of July 1, 2010 as part of a pastoral reconfiguration in the town of Clinton and was merged into the new St. John, Guardian of Our Lady Parish. The net proceeds of the sale will remain with St. John, Guardian of Our Lady Parish, as has been the case with all property sales from parish mergers in the diocese, according to a release from the office of communications.
